Cleaning Checklist

Please ensure the following are carried out prior to vacating the premises:

  • All blinds and curtains to be cleaned and in working order
  • All globes are in working order
  • Exhaust fans and air vents to be cleaned
  • All windows and window sills to be cleaned
  • Carpet to be vacuumed and/or professionally cleaned if there are stains/marks present (receipt required)
  • Light fittings & light switches to be cleaned and dust free
  • Skirting boards to be cleaned and dust free
  • Wardrobes/cupboards to be cleaned inside and out and dust free
  • Cobwebs inside and outside to be removed
  • Remove all traces of blu tac or marks from posters on the walls
  • All rubbish and personal items removed from the premises
  • Bench tops must be wiped over
  • Stove top, oven, range hood and griller to be cleaned & grease free
  • Particular attention should be paid to the inside and outside of the cupboards in the kitchen and bathroom
  • Sink must be cleaned with steel wool
  • Floors must be cleaned throughout entire property
  • Dishwasher, dryer, washing machine (and other appliances ) must be empty and clean inside
  • All mould must be wiped from between the tiles, ceilings and walls
  • Particular attention to the shower tiles, shower recess, wash basin, bathroom cabinet, toilet and bath to be cleaned and hair free
  • Rubbish Bins to be empty
  • Grass/lawn mowed
  • Courtyards/Balconies/Outdoor areas must be clean & tidy
  • Garage/car space is empty and swept
  • Any damage caused to the premises must be repaired at the tenant’s expense
  • Fumigation/carpet cleaning if there was a pet in the premises (receipt required)
